Bklyn Larder,
illustration & design

While working as a cook at Bklyn Larder, I began designing and illustrating posters for the shop, bringing my design background into an entirely different part of my creative life. The work caught the attention of local NYC media, generating a nice bit of buzz and leading to more opportunities to shape the visual personality of the brand.

From there, I got to play around with the brand in a bunch of different ways, creating type-driven tote bags, merchandise, signage, and other printed pieces. It was a fun overlap of the things I loved most at the time: food, design, and making things with my hands.
