Franny’s,
redesign
A dream project and client, and one of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. While working at Bklyn Larder, Franny’s sister cheese shop, I proposed updating the brand to better reflect the food and hospitality they were producing. I was obsessed with typography at the time (still am) and took my first real swing at creating a fully custom wordmark. From there, we built out the rest of the guest experience: menus, coasters, posters, website, tote bags, and more.
As a young designer in Brooklyn, it was a genuine honor to be a small part of what they were doing at Franny’s. I felt at home in Brooklyn, and Franny’s was such a perfect expression of the food, hospitality, and simplicity that made the borough feel like home. Being able to contribute to that, even in a small way, meant a lot.
